Ramakrishna Mission, Jaipur is a branch centre of the world-famous Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, BELUR MATH. Swami Vivekananda along with his brother monks established Ramakrishna order ( Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission) in the name of his Guru, Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa Dev, with the motto Atmano Mokshartham Jagat Hitaya Cha’ – ‘FOR LIBERATION OF THE SELF AND FOR THE WELFARE OF THE WORLD.

This Centre was started in the capital of Rajasthan on April 19, 1988, which was the auspicious Akshay Tritiya Day. The Jaipur City had earlier been sanctified by the visits of Holy Mother Sri Maa Sarada Devi as well as some of the first disciples of the Master who all came here to have Darshan of Sri Govind Deo Ji Temple.Swamiji himself is known to have graced this beautiful city by his august presence thrice.

At present, different Services like Daily Puja, Dispensary, Mobile Dispensary, Library, Book Stall, Mobile Book Van, Self-Study Centre, Occasional Relief are being rendered by Ramakrishna Mission, Jaipur.

The 1st of January is celebrated as Kalpataru day in almost all the centres of Ramkrishna Math and Mission. This was the day when in the year 1886 Bhagwan Sri Ramkrishna blessed his devotees in an extraordinary way by awakening their spritual consciousness.
Christmas Eve will be celebrated in the Ashrama (Ramakrishna Mission, Jaipur ) Temple immediately after evening Arati (around 6:30 p. m.), on Sunday, the 24th of December 2023.
We are glad to inform our devotees that like privious years, Sri Sri Kali Puja will be performed with image worship on Sunday, the 12th of November, 2023. The Puja will start around 9.00 p.m. and will go on throughout the night. Devotees wishing to attend the Puja are requested to enter the premises before 12.00 p.m. after which the main gate will be closed to prevent entry by outsiders. However, those inside the premises can go out at any time. There will be prasad distribution at the end of the Puja early in the morning on the 13th 2023.
Hope, by the grace of the Holy Trio, you all are keeping well. This year also like previous years, special worship of Sri Sri Ramakrishna Dev and One day Durga Puja will be performed on Sri Sri Durga Ashtami, SUNDAY, 22nd October 2023.

Janmashtami will be celebrated in the Ashrama on Thursday, the 7th September, 2023.  There will be chanting of the Bhagavad गता, chapter 2,3,4,5 and 11,12. from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 pm , at the end of which the devotees will be served tea. This will be followed by arati at the main temple 07:00 pm, after which the Janmashtami puja, bhajan, etc will begin at around 7:30 p.m.  There will also be a discourse on the life and teachings of Bhagawan Sri Krishna by the undersigned. At the end of the puja, Prasad will be distributed.

You will be happy to learn that we have been able to bring out a special publication of our Jaipur branch in the form of a book titled “The growing presence of the Holy Trio in the Land of Rajasthan- an illustrative account of the history of Ramakrishna Mission Jaipur”. One of our very senior devotees from Udaipur, Dr Ranjit Choudhuri volunteered his service to write the above book and became a blessed contributor to the noble cause of ours. The above book has been blessed with the message received from our Revered Swami Smaranananda Ji Maharaj-President Ramakrishna Mission. The book also received an Ashirbachan from our Revered Swami Suhitananda Ji Maharaj, Vice President, Ramakrishna Mission, besides, being privileged to receive an extended foreword note from the Revered Swami Suvirananda Ji Maharaj, the General Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission. The growth history of the Ramakrishna Mission Jaipur including a detailed account of the conception, planning and actual construction of the beautiful edifice of the Universal temple in the heart of the historic city of Jaipur. Besides the growth of the Ramakrishna Vivekananda Movement in Rajasthan have been traced in the book including a brief account of the Private centres of in Rajasthan and their functioning. For achieving the purpose of a wider circulation of the publication, the book has been priced on a token basis (Rs 150/-) and which is much below the cost (about one third) of the actual publication cost of every copy of the book (which has been borne through the donation received from a generous devotee of ours) and is now available with the Ramakrishna Mission Jaipur Book Stall.
